You’ll find Interio over at K 1/11 in the Adarsh Industrial Estate on M G Road. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks and noise from the other units nearby. Our space is more like a workshop than a fancy showroom. We have samples of things lying around everywhere—bits of wood, fabric swatches, and various tools. It can get a bit cluttered. The floor is concrete and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We spend our time sketching things out or talking to suppliers. It’s not a quiet place, there’s always the sound of someone cutting something or a delivery being unloaded. The air usually smells a bit like sawdust or glue. We have a small desk where we handle the paperwork, but most of the work happens on the large benches in the middle of the room. M G Road is always busy, so getting here can take a bit of time depending on the traffic. We’ve been in this unit for quite a while now. It’s a practical space that suits what we do. We don’t have a fancy entrance, just a heavy metal door that stays open during the day to let some air in. It’s just us here, working through the orders and trying to keep things moving. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s a good place to work. There’s an old radio in the corner that mostly just plays static, but we keep it anyway. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery guys and the occasional client who doesn't mind the mess.
