We are located over in Subhash Nagar, right inside Shukla Chawl Number 2. It’s a part of the Jai Ambe Welfare Association area in Andheri East. Working in Mumbai means things are always crowded and fast, but we’ve managed to keep our electronics work steady from this small spot. The space isn't huge, but it fits the tools and the parts we need for our daily assembly and repairs. Most of the guys here live close by, so we don't have to worry too much about the long train commutes every single day. We deal with various electronic components and circuit boards. It's dusty work sometimes, and the noise from the street usually drifts in through the windows. We’ve been in this chawl for a while now. People in the neighborhood know us by name. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls; it’s just benches, soldering irons, and stacks of components waiting to be sorted. If you're coming by, you have to navigate the narrow lanes, but that’s just how Andheri is. We keep our own hours mostly, depending on how much work is piled up on the desks. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and other times it’s quiet enough to have a long tea break outside. It’s just a normal workplace where we get our hands dirty with wires and boards.
