This branch is tucked away in the Sion Chunabhatti area, right near the Mhada Colony on Hill Road. We are located in Alli Dada Chawl, specifically at Room Number 12 in Ward 10. It’s a busy little spot in Mumbai, and we see a lot of people coming in and out throughout the day. Banking here is pretty straightforward. People come by to handle their savings, deposit some cash, or ask questions about their accounts. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we know many of the faces from the neighborhood. It’s not a huge office, but it serves the local folks who live nearby. Sometimes the line gets long, especially in the mornings, but we try to move things along. Working in a chawl area like this means we are right in the middle of the community. You can hear the noise from the street while we work. It’s a very local vibe here compared to those big glass buildings you see downtown. We mostly deal with everyday banking stuff for the people living in Ward 10 and the surrounding streets. It’s practical work. We help with what’s needed and make sure the books are right at the end of the day. There’s no fancy lobby or anything, just a desk and the usual bank equipment. The walls are a bit plain and we have some old calendars hanging up. We get a lot of elderly folks from the nearby chawls who come in to check their pensions. They like to chat for a bit.
