You can find us over at Laxmi Industrial Estate in Andheri West. We’re in unit R-32. It’s a typical industrial area, so there’s always a lot of loading and unloading happening in the lanes. Our place is basically a warehouse with a small office partitioned off in the corner. It gets pretty dusty, so we’re always wiping down the desks. We handle exports, which involves a lot of boxes and checking labels. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. The Link Road traffic is usually a mess, so we try to get here early before things get jammed up. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and packing tape. We’ve got a small team, and everyone knows what they need to do. There’s no big hierarchy here. If something needs to be moved, we all pitch in. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. The neighbors are alright, mostly other small businesses doing their own thing. Sometimes we have a quick chat with the guy next door while we’re taking a break outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a reception desk. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see us in the middle of some boxes. It’s a practical space for practical work. We just focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the numbers add up. Every morning starts with a list of shipments and a quick cup of tea before the noise of the estate starts.
