Hyper Computers

Hyper Computers is located at 6, Gautam View, right on J.P. Road in Andheri West. We’re directly opposite the 'S' building—everyone around here knows the spot. It’s a small place, honestly. You walk in and you’re basically surrounded by motherboard boxes, tangled power cords, and old monitors that we haven't quite decided to throw away yet. There’s always that smell of hot electronics and solder in the air. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our work happens on the workbench in the back where the lighting is better for seeing tiny screws. People come in with laptops that won't turn on or desktops that are making weird noises. We listen to the machines and try to figure it out. It’s not always a quick fix, and sometimes we have to tell people their hard drive is toast, which is never a fun conversation. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and waiting for progress bars to finish. J.P. Road is always loud, so we usually have some music playing in the shop to drown out the honking. We aren't corporate guys in suits. We’re usually in t-shirts with some dust on our sleeves. It’s just a local computer shop where we do our best to get things running again. We take our lunch breaks when we can find a gap in the work. It’s a simple life and we like it here in Andheri.
