Holcim

We’re over at 300 Jyotish Roy Road in the New Alipore area of Kolkata. Holcim has been at this location for some time. It’s a busy street, and there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside, which is just part of being in Kolkata. The office isn't anything spectacular to look at. It’s a functional space where we handle all our logistical and administrative stuff. We don't go in for corporate polish or fancy decor. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of talk about cement and construction materials. We’ve got a small crew here. Everyone has their own way of doing things, but we make it work. Sometimes the monsoon rains make getting to the office a bit of a challenge, but we still show up. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just manage the operations from this corner of New Alipore. People stop by once in a while, and we just talk to them like normal folks. It’s an honest day’s work for us. The building has its quirks, like the slow elevator or the way the lights flicker sometimes, but it’s our place. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s where we do what we do, simple as that. There’s a guy who sells tea right outside the gate, and we’re there most afternoons. It is just our regular daily routine.
