Hero Mindmine

Deepak V Bhandarkar is usually around the office at Chitrakut in Ashoknagar. We are located on Cross Road No 2 in Kandivali East, which gets pretty busy during the morning hours. This building has been our base for a while now. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight but we make it work. Most of us take the train or a rickshaw to get here. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and computers where we handle the daily tasks for Hero Mindmine. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but that’s just life in Mumbai 400101. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we talk. It’s a quiet enough spot once you’re inside. We’ve got some tea stalls nearby that we visit when we need a break from the screens. Life here is mostly about getting the work done and heading home before the rush hour gets too bad. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers around Ashoknagar. It feels more like a community than a corporate park. We don't spend much time on decorations. The files are stacked where they fit, and everyone knows where everything is. We stay pretty focused here and try not to let the city noise distract us too much.
