Hera Interior

Shop number 147 in Kamgaar Nagar is where you will find us most days. It is a small shop in Kurla East, nothing too fancy to look at. We spend most of our time dealing with wood, paint, and different fabric samples. It can get a bit dusty and crowded in here, but that is just how an interior workshop looks when things are moving. People from the neighborhood drop in to ask about fixing a cupboard or changing their room layout around. We do not have a big showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have catalogs and some material samples lying around on the tables. Kurla is always loud and busy, so there is constant energy right outside our door. We have been here for a while, so we know how people live in these parts of Mumbai. Space is always tight, and we try to figure out how to make the most of what is available. It is not about making things look like a movie set; it is about making them usable for families. We use simple tools and work with local carpenters. Sometimes a project takes longer because of the rain or transport issues, and we just tell people the truth about it. We do not like using fancy language. If a hinge is broken, we say it is broken. We are just regular folks working with our hands and helping neighbors make their houses a bit more comfortable. (252 words)
