This branch is located on the second floor of Oscar Apartments, right on 17th Road in Khar. Most people are used to seeing banks on the ground floor, but we are a bit higher up at number 10. Khar is a busy area of Mumbai, especially this particular stretch where there are so many apartments and shops. We handle the usual banking stuff here, like accounts and paperwork for the locals. It gets pretty crowded on the days when people get their salaries or when taxes are due. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how to handle the rush. It’s a plain office, nothing too fancy, just desks, computers, and a lot of files. The 17th Road can be quite noisy with all the rickshaws and cars honking, but once you’re inside the building, it’s a bit quieter. We see a lot of the same faces every month, people who live right in the neighborhood. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just know we are here because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit slow, so some of us just take the stairs to the second floor. It keeps us moving. Working in a residential building like Oscar Apartments makes the whole place feel a bit more personal compared to the big glass towers in other parts of the city.
