Our unit is located in the Shanti Industrial Estate over on S.N. Road. Textile work is what we do, and we've been at it for quite some time now. The estate is a bit old, but it’s a good community of workers and small owners. Inside our space, you'll find rolls of fabric and the sound of machines running. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of stock in. We deal with different types of cloth, mostly focusing on the practical side of things like weaving or basic processing. It’s not a fashion studio; it’s a workplace. There’s always lint in the air and the smell of raw cotton. We start our mornings by checking the looms or the cutting tables. S.N. Road can be a bit of a headache with the deliveries coming in, but we have a rhythm down. The staff here are mostly local people who have been in textiles their whole lives. We don't use fancy jargon to describe our fabrics. If it's good, it's good. We just try to make sure every meter of cloth that leaves the estate is up to the mark. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out. It’s just the way it goes in this industry. We’re happy being a small part of the big textile world here.
