Hasmukh Furniture & Decorator

You can find our workshop, Hasmukh Furniture & Decorator, at 133 Amirbang, over by Old Reti Bunder. It’s a place that smells like sawdust and wood glue most of the time. We’ve been making furniture here for years, and the space has seen a lot of different projects come and go. It’s not a shiny furniture showroom where everything is perfectly polished. Instead, you’ll find wood planks leaning against the walls, tools lying on benches, and a bit of dust on everything. We mostly do things by hand because it feels right to us, and that takes time and space. The area around Old Reti Bunder is a bit gritty, but it’s a good place for a workshop like ours. We don't have a fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk to people right there in the middle of whatever we’re building. Our floors are concrete and the lighting isn't great, but it works for us. We’ve built everything from simple stools to big cabinets in this room. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses and workshops, so there is always a lot of activity and the sound of hammers or saws in the air. We don't spend a lot on advertising because people in the neighborhood know where we are and what we do. It’s a simple life, focused on making things that last, and we’re happy to keep doing it right here at Amirbang.
