Hari Om Krishi Kendra

Our place is Office No 201 in the Kylemore Buildi, right there in Bandra West near Navarpura. Being so close to Mehbob Studios means there is always something going on outside, but we stay focused on our work with agricultural supplies. It might seem strange to have a Krishi Kendra in the middle of Bandra, but this is where our office is based. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and dealers from outside the city. The office is on the second floor, and the lift is sometimes slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. We have bags of seed samples and catalogs piled up on the shelves. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are in the room. My brother handles most of the phone calls while I look after the accounts. We have been doing this for a long time and we know the business inside out. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just rely on the relationships we have built over the years. People know they can call us and get a straight answer. It is a busy life, balancing the city office with the rural needs of our customers, but we enjoy it. The neighborhood is full of energy, and even though the rent is probably too high, we like being here. It is just home for the business and we make it work every day.
