My office is situated at 1005 in Nellai Apartments, which is right on the Chembur Pestom Sagar Road. Being up on the tenth floor gives a bit of a view, though mostly it's just other buildings and the usual Mumbai haze. I’ve been operating from this location for quite some time. It’s a professional space where I handle various client matters and a fair amount of paperwork. Chembur is a busy area, but Pestom Sagar Road has its own rhythm. The apartment building is well-known around here, so most people don't have a hard time finding me. Inside, it’s a quiet environment, which is necessary for the kind of work I do. I spend most of my hours at the desk, going through files and talking to people over the phone or in person. It’s not a flashy setup with modern art on the walls or anything like that. It’s just a functional workspace with bookshelves and a desk that’s usually covered in notes. I’ve always preferred a direct approach to things. If someone comes to me with a task, I just get to work on it without making a big deal out of it. Most of my clients have been coming to me for years because they know what to expect. It’s a steady way of life, and I’m happy to keep things running just as they are in this little corner of Chembur.
