Guru Nanak Communication

Guru Nanak Communication is located over in Kanjurmarg East, right by the Mustafa Bazar area on Sant Savata Marg. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We handle a lot of mobile recharges and SIM card issues throughout the day. People from the neighborhood come in constantly, usually in a hurry. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put the display racks for the phone covers and the earphones. Kanjurmarg East has changed a lot lately, but this corner near the bazar still feels like the old days. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about their data plans or why their battery isn't holding a charge anymore. It's practical work. There’s always a bit of tea sitting on the counter and the sound of the traffic from Sant Savata Marg coming through the door. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers or kept in our heads. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the weather gets bad, but we just keep going. It’s a local business, so we know most of the faces that walk in. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just a reliable spot where you can get your phone sorted out while you're doing your other errands at the market. It works for us.
