Goyam Collection

Goyam Collection is located right on Narshi Natha Street, which is always full of activity and noise. Being at number 215 in Mumbai Central Ho means we see a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. We have been here for some time now, focusing on our collection of clothes and various fabrics. It's a bit of a tight space when we get new stock in, but we always manage to fit everything onto the wooden shelves. Most of the time, it's just us showing different pieces to people who walk in looking for something specific or just browsing through the racks. The street outside is usually very noisy with trucks and people, but inside the shop, we just focus on what the customer needs at that moment. We don't do much advertising at all; most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor or relative. It's a simple setup with metal racks and some small display areas near the front. We try to keep things organized, though during the busy festival seasons, it gets a little chaotic with all the different styles coming in. We open up early and stay until the street quietens down a bit in the evening. Dealing with textiles and readymade clothes keeps us on our toes all day. There's always something to fold or a shelf to tidy up after a customer leaves. We aren't a big mall store.
