Golden Furniture

Golden Furniture is situated at 1 Prabhat Colony. It’s a corner spot that many people in the area recognize. We have been here for a good long time. The space is filled with different pieces of furniture we’re working on or showing. It smells like wood and polish most days. Prabhat Colony is a nice enough place to have a shop. We have some regular customers from the neighborhood who stop by just to say hello. The workshop is right there, so you can see us working if you walk in. It’s not a polished showroom like you see in the malls. We have stuff stacked up, and sometimes it’s hard to move around when we have a lot of orders. We use traditional tools and just get on with the job. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys who have been doing this for years. We don't spend money on advertising. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. We take our time with the work. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing on our feet. Sometimes the street outside gets noisy, but inside we just focus on the wood. It’s a simple life at 1 Prabhat Colony. We just keep making things and hope people like them. We stay until the sun goes down most days.
