Global Microtech Industries operates out of the Sakinaka Industries Market on Link Road, right at unit B 11. If you know Sakinaka, you know how the traffic gets on Link Road, so getting here in the morning is always a bit of a struggle. The shop itself is small and packed with all sorts of components and tools we use every day. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stuff stored on the shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We mostly deal with small parts that require a lot of focus and steady hands. Most of us here drink way too much tea from the stall just down the road while we work. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of solder and old metal, which I’ve gotten used to over the years. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but once you’re inside B 11, we just focus on the task in front of us. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation with fancy slogans. We are just a group of guys who know how to handle micro-parts and keep things running. The floor is usually covered in little scraps of wire, no matter how many times we try to sweep it up. It’s just how an industrial market works. We've been at this address for a long time, and the locals know us by name now.
