You can find Global Agritech on the sixth floor of N.K.M. International House. We’re located in the Backbay Reclamation area, which is pretty close to Marine Drive in South Mumbai. It’s an old building with a lot of character, but the elevators can be a bit cranky and slow sometimes. We’ve been here for a while, working on things related to agricultural technology and farming inputs. The office is usually a mess of papers and samples of different fertilizers or seeds we’re testing out. We aren’t a huge corporation with thousands of employees in suits. It’s just a group of us who have been in this industry for a long time. We spend our time talking to farmers and suppliers across the state. It’s not always smooth sailing; there are often delays with shipments or issues with the government paperwork that take forever to clear. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the busy seasons when everything happens at once. The view from the window is mostly other buildings, but if you lean out a bit, you can see the city moving below. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us or a polished image. We just focus on the technical side of farming and trying to get better results for the people we work with. It's practical, everyday work. We don't wear suits unless we absolutely have to for a formal meeting. Most days it’s just casual clothes and a lot of hard work.
