Our office is up on the 2nd floor, Office No 45, at 166 Sa in the Masjid area. If you have ever been to Masjid, you know the streets are always packed with people and carts moving goods back and forth. To get to us, you have to go up a narrow set of stairs that can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying something. The office itself is full of binders and sample books because we do a lot of sales work for different products. It is a busy environment with the sound of the market coming in through the windows. We spend a lot of time on the computer or the phone, tracking orders and talking to people about what they need for their own shops. It is not a very quiet place, but it is where all the trade happens, so it makes sense for us to be here. We usually have a pot of tea going, and we take turns dealing with whoever walks in the door. The building is one of those old ones with thick walls and high ceilings, though it can get a bit warm in the summer months. We have been working from this 2nd-floor spot for several years now. Most of our day is just coordinating between the manufacturers and the buyers, keeping things moving through the supply chain without too much fuss or unnecessary delay.
