Ganesh Mobile & Accessories

Being in Kurla East, right on 7th Main, means we see a lot of people every single day. This shop, Ganesh Mobile & Accessories, is pretty small, but we managed to pack a lot into it. We have walls covered in chargers, earphones, and those plastic covers everyone wants for their new phones. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people come in at once. Number 6 isn't hard to find if you’re walking through the main market area. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a while. I spend a lot of my time behind the counter applying screen guards. You have to be careful not to get any dust under the glass, which is hard with the door open to the street. We also do some basic repairs, like fixing charging ports that got messed up. It’s a simple life. We open up, tidy the displays, and wait for the morning rush. Kurla is a fast-paced place, and people are always in a hurry to get their gadgets fixed. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the person who bought a cable from us yesterday doesn't come back today saying it doesn't work. We try to stock the stuff people actually need, not just the expensive things. It’s just me and a couple of others here most days, drinking tea and talking to the neighbors. It keeps us busy.
