You can find us at No. 5- B in Anand Nagar. We are right near Sanjivani Hospital on Swami Nityanand Road in Andheri East. It’s a busy spot, being so close to a hospital. We have been running this ayurvedic shop for a while now. The shelves are packed with all kinds of jars, powders, and oils. It smells like herbs and sandalwood most of the time, which is something I’ve grown to really like. The shop isn’t very large, so we have to stack things pretty high. Sometimes I need a stool just to reach the stuff on the top shelf. We get a lot of people walking in who are just passing by after visiting the hospital next door. We spend our day talking to customers about different roots and traditional mixtures. It’s a local place, nothing like those big modern stores you see in malls. The floor is a bit worn out from all the foot traffic over the years. We open early and stay open until the street gets quiet at night. My nephew helps out sometimes when it gets really crowded on Saturdays. We don’t really do much advertising; people just know we are here. It’s just a regular business where we try to keep enough stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. We like being part of the Andheri community and seeing familiar faces every week. It is just a simple shop for traditional things.
