Gajanand Enterprises

Gajanand Enterprises has been based in Borivali East for a good number of years. We aren't tucked away in some high-rise office; we’re right here where the action is. The shop is filled with various supplies that people in the area need for their businesses or homes. We don't really have a specific theme to what we sell, it’s just a mix of things we’ve found people ask for most often. The shelves are packed tight and sometimes things get a bit dusty if they’ve been sitting there for a while. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers on the phone or writing down orders in our big notebook. We don't use much fancy software here, just a pen and paper mostly. It feels more reliable that way. The neighborhood is pretty friendly and we often have people just popping in to say hello or ask for directions. It gets hot in the summer because the fan doesn't reach every corner, but we manage fine. We've got a small back room where we keep the extra stock and take our breaks. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or by just walking past. We’re just a small team trying to keep things running smoothly and making sure we have what people are looking for.
