Masjid Bunder West is always a bit of a chaotic place, and Sector 34-A is no different. We’re right here at 3-C, tucked into the middle of all that activity. G A D The Mobile Shop is basically a place where we handle whatever comes through the door. Mostly it’s people looking for a new handset or needing a quick recharge. The shelves are full of boxes—chargers, headphones, and those little memory cards everyone used to use. Now it’s mostly power banks and Bluetooth neckbands. I spend a lot of time sticking tempered glass onto screens. You have to be careful not to get a single speck of dust under there, or the customer gets annoyed. It’s a lot of pressure for a small piece of glass. The shop isn't very big, so things can get cramped when three or four people come in at once. We hear the trucks and the loaders outside all day long. It's the sound of the market. We don't have fancy displays or air conditioning that works all that well, but we have what people need. Most of our customers are from the nearby offices or the docks. They want something that works and they want it fast. We try to keep things simple. No big promises, just selling phones and fixing what we can while the tea gets cold on the counter. It’s just how we do business.
