Furniture Mall

If you go over to Jogeshwari West, you’ll find us at number 15. We’ve got a decent-sized space here for all the furniture we keep in stock. It’s not really a mall in the way people think of big shopping centers today; it’s more of a warehouse and showroom mixed into one big room. There’s always a bit of sawdust in the air and the smell of fresh polish. We spend most of our time moving heavy sofas and wooden tables around to make room for new stuff coming in. It’s hard on the back, but it’s what we do every day. The area around Jogeshwari is always moving, and we get a lot of people just stopping by to look at beds or cupboards when they pass. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays or staged rooms. We just put the items out so people can see the quality and the wood for themselves. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole entrance and we have to scramble to get things unloaded before the traffic police show up. It’s a bit chaotic, especially when multiple customers are asking questions at once. We aren't trying to be the most modern or trendy store in Mumbai. We just want to provide furniture that lasts a long time and works for normal homes. The floor is concrete, and the fans are old and noisy, but it stays cool enough in the hot afternoons. It’s just our local furniture spot.
