Our place is tucked away in the Jay Kay Industrial Estate over in Parel. We are up on the fifth floor, room 509 specifically, in the Rangol building. If you are coming from the Linking Road Extension, you’ll find us near the old Hindmata Premier Theatre. It’s an old industrial area, so it gets pretty noisy with all the other units around us. We spend most of our time dealing with furniture designs and making sure the pieces fit what people actually need. It’s not a showroom where everything is polished and shiny; it’s more of a working office where we handle the logistics and the drawings. Sometimes the stairs are faster than the lift when the building gets busy in the afternoons. Parel is a crowded spot, but being near Hindmata makes it easy to explain where we are to delivery drivers. We’ve got wood samples and fabric swatches all over the place. It’s a bit messy at times, but that’s just the nature of the business we are in. We focus on the practical side of furniture making. The staff here has been around for a while, so we know the local suppliers and craftsmen pretty well. We don’t bother with fancy slogans or big promises. We just show up, look at the plans, and try to get the furniture side of things sorted for our clients. It’s a straightforward operation we’ve got running in this part of town.
