Flud Power Engineering

Flud Power Engineering is right on M.K.N. Road in Alandur. Our shop is easy to find if you look for the old number 337 or the new number 493. It’s a very busy road and there is a lot of noise from the cars and the traffic nearby. We work on hydraulic systems and various types of engineering parts. Most of the time our hands are covered in grease or oil from fixing valves and pumps. The floor is stained from years of work and we have tools scattered across the benches. It is not a clean environment but that is the nature of engineering. We have a lot of heavy parts sitting around and we use a small crane to move them when they are too much for us to lift. People come to us when their machinery breaks down and they need a part fixed quickly. We try to help them out but some jobs take longer than others. The air in the shop usually smells like machine oil and metal shavings. We take a break in the afternoon to have some tea and sit on the stools outside for a few minutes of fresh air. It is a tough job but someone has to do it. We have been here in Alandur for years and we know the machines inside out. We just keep our heads down and do the repair work as it comes.
