You can find us right on Irla Datta Mandir Cross Road. It’s a narrow street, always full of people going to the temple or the market. Our shop, Fine Connection, isn’t very big. We’ve got a counter and some shelves and not much else. Most of the day is spent looking at small parts or talking to people who’ve dropped something they shouldn't have. It gets crowded in here around five in the evening. We don’t have a big sign, just enough so people know we’re here. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit on the step for a bit. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We know the guy who sells tea next door and the lady with the fruit stall. We’ve been working here long enough that we don’t need to look up directions anymore. It’s mostly about fixing things and making sure they work before they go back out the door. We aren't tech geniuses, we just have a lot of practice. The floor is a bit uneven and the paint is peeling in the corner, but it doesn’t bother anyone. We just focus on the task at hand. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Sometimes the work is fiddly and takes longer than we thought. We just tell people to come back in an hour. Most of them don't mind. It's just how things go around here on the cross road. It's a living, and we enjoy it.
