Fastech Telecommunications (I) Pvt.Ltd. occupies units 230-231 in the Keytou Industrial Estate on Kondivita Road in Andheri East. This part of Mumbai is always moving at a million miles an hour. Our office is right in the thick of it, surrounded by other industrial units and warehouses. We deal with telecommunications stuff, so there are usually cables and hardware scattered around the place while we work. The estate itself has that classic Mumbai feel—a bit crowded, very busy, and always full of energy. Getting here in the morning is a mission with the Andheri traffic, but once we’re inside, we settle into our tasks. The units we have are big enough for our team and the gear we keep on hand. We aren’t really into the whole corporate branding thing; we just have a sign on the door and get on with our jobs. Most of our time is spent troubleshooting or planning out setups for different clients. It’s a very practical way to spend the day. When the monsoon hits, the road outside can get a bit messy, but we just keep the doors open and stay busy. It’s a no-nonsense environment where we focus on the technical details of the telecom world. We’ve been part of this industrial community for quite a while now and we just take things as they come, day by day.
