Farmers India

We are tucked away in Mahim over at Holi Chakala Chauta Bazaar 3. The morning starts early here, usually before the sun really gets hot. Farmers India is mostly just us handling things and making sure everything is in its place. The bazaar gets loud pretty fast once the shops open up nearby. We spend a lot of time moving crates around and checking what came in. It is not a quiet office or anything like that. There is always dust from the street and the sound of people haggling outside our door. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow parts of the bazaar and that slows everything down for a couple of hours. We just work through it. Our space is not very large, so we have to be smart about where we put stuff. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to stop and do it. Most of our days are spent talking to people who come by or looking at the stock. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how things run. When the monsoon hits, the street gets muddy and we have to keep the floor clean all the time. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is what we do. We have been in this part of Mahim for a bit now and know the neighbors pretty well.
