Fairfield Engineers

Our shop is located at 204 Nagdevi Street. If you’ve ever been down this road, you know how crowded it gets with carts, delivery bikes, and people looking for parts. We’ve stayed in this spot because it's where the action is for engineering supplies. The building is old, and our space is filled from floor to ceiling with boxes. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we generally know where everything is tucked away. Fairfield Engineers is basically a small team of us who handle the day-to-day stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to mechanics who drop by for specific pieces they can't find elsewhere. It’s noisy outside, and there’s always someone shouting for a rickshaw to move. We don’t have a big fancy website or a marketing department. We just focus on keeping the stock organized so we can find things when someone asks. Sometimes we get a bit backed up when multiple orders come in at once, but we manage. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is a nice break from the constant phone calls. Working on Nagdevi Street means you meet all sorts of people from different trades. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. We just supply the parts that keep other machines running. It’s honest work, even if the office gets a bit messy with paperwork and grease sometimes. We just keep our heads down and do our best to stay on top of the orders.
