Evergreen Industries

We are Evergreen Industries, and you can find us at the Mathuradas Mill Compound in Goregaon East. If you’ve ever been to the compound, you know it’s a busy, gritty kind of place. There are lots of workshops and small factories all crammed together. Our space is one of the larger ones, but it’s still full of machinery and raw materials. It’s always loud here because of the metal work and the trucks backing in and out. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots on it. We work long hours, especially when there’s a big order to finish. Goregaon East is a fast-growing area, but inside the mill compound, it feels like time has slowed down a bit. We have a small office corner with a wooden desk where we keep our ledgers. It’s not a place for a suit and tie. Most of us wear old clothes because of the dust and grease. We make things that people need, nothing fancy or for show. The roof leaks a little bit when it pours in Mumbai, so we have to move the stock around. It’s just the way it is. We’ve been part of this compound for years and we know the other owners around here. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way every day.
