We operate out of Row House No 9 in Mulund East. It’s a nice, quiet residential street, which is good for a preschool. Being in a row house makes it feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office building. We have a small area out front and a few rooms inside where the kids spend their day. Mulund is a busy part of Mumbai, but our little corner is relatively calm. We get a lot of families from the surrounding buildings bringing their toddlers here. The rooms are filled with the usual stuff you’d expect—toys, books, and little chairs. We don't have a giant playground, but we make the most of the space we have. The teachers here are local people who enjoy being around children. We don't put on a show or use complicated marketing talk. We just focus on the daily routine of teaching the alphabet and making sure everyone gets their lunch. It can get a bit hectic when it's time to go home and all the parents arrive at once. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a kid had a rough day, we tell the parents. If they learned something new, we share that too. It’s just a small, local school trying to do a good job for the neighborhood. We’ve been part of this community for a bit now and like how friendly everyone is on our street.
