Encon India

We are located at 2 B/6 on Kashinath Dhuru Road, right near where it meets N C Kelkar Road. Encon India isn’t a very big office, but it is the place where we do all our daily planning and the boring paperwork. It can be a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't familiar with this building, but once you get inside, it is just a regular workspace with files everywhere. We spend our days looking at drawings and talking about engineering stuff that needs to get done. Most of the guys here have been doing this for a long time, so we don't really need to explain much to each other anymore. The desks are covered in old calculators and pens that always seem to run out of ink right when you need to sign something. Outside, the street is always crowded with people heading towards the station, so it can be quite noisy in the afternoons. We usually have the windows shut to keep the dust and the heat out. We aren't the type of people to have big meetings or fancy presentations with slides. We just sit down, look at what needs to be built or fixed, and get to it. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and we end up ordering food from the little place downstairs. It is honest work and we like being in this part of town because everything is close.
