Emotion Gift

Our shop is right on the main road of Rb Mehta Marg in Ghatkopar East. It’s a busy street in the Pant Nagar area, so there is always someone walking by or looking through the glass window. We spend our days surrounded by all sorts of items that people buy for birthdays or other special days. The shelves are always a bit crowded because we try to fit a lot in. It’s not one of those perfectly minimal stores you see in magazines; it’s a bit cluttered and real. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and pricing things with those little sticker guns. Sometimes a customer comes in knowing exactly what they want, and other times they just wander around for twenty minutes looking at the cards and trinkets without saying a word. We don't push anyone to buy anything; we just let them look. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually have the awning down to keep things cool. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know where everything is hidden in the back. If someone asks for a specific type of ribbon or a particular box, we usually have to dig it out from under a pile. It’s a cozy spot, even if it gets a bit cramped when it’s raining and everyone ducks inside to stay dry. It’s just a normal shop.
