Eman Enterprises

We are based at 8 Dharavi, right near the Badi Masjid. If you know the area, you know it’s always moving and there’s a lot going on at all hours. Our space is simple, tucked into the neighborhood where everyone knows each other. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a room where we handle our business daily. We hear the calls to prayer from the mosque nearby, which kind of marks the time for us throughout the day. The streets around us are narrow, and there’s always someone passing by or a bike squeezing through. Inside Eman Enterprises, we keep things organized the best we can. There are usually a few of us here, sitting at the desks or sorting through things. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes, but it works for what we do. We don’t put on any acts here. It’s just about getting the work finished and talking to the people who drop by. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. It’s a practical setup. We’ve been around this part of Dharavi for a bit, so we are used to the pace. It’s a real place with real people working hard. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just what’s necessary for the job. It feels like home to us, even when it’s busy and loud outside our door.
