Prince Plaza is a busy building on Kanakia Road. We are at number 303. It's right near the police station, so it's a safe spot. Mira Road is always moving fast. The shop is small, so we have to stack boxes high up to the ceiling. It can feel a bit crowded when two or three people come in at once. I spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at circuit boards. The air conditioner works most of the time, but when it doesn't, it gets stuffy. People come here because they live in the nearby apartments. They want their things fixed yesterday. I do my best but I only have two hands. It's a lot of mundane work, checking connections and replacing small parts. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to finish the work on the table. The lighting inside is quite bright so I can see the small details. Sometimes the traffic on Kanakia Road is so loud I have to shout a bit to be heard. I’ve been in this plaza for a few years now. It’s a good community. Most of the other shop owners are friendly. We share a tea now and then. It’s just a normal business in a normal neighborhood. No frills, just electronics and a lot of patience. Most evenings I stay late just to organize the wires for the next morning.
