Electromech Engineering Enterprises

Our little shop is number 22, tucked inside the Koyna Co-Op Housing Society in Shantivan, Borivli East. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the parts and tools we keep around. Being in a residential society means we have to be careful about the noise, but the neighbors are mostly okay with us. We handle a lot of different engineering jobs here. It’s mostly just mechanical stuff and electrical bits that need fixing or putting together. Borivli East is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside the shop. We start early most mornings before it gets too hot. The space isn’t very big, so we have to stay organized or we can't find anything. Most of our tools have been with us for years. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those big corporate factories you see on TV. We just take things one day at a time. If someone comes in with a problem, we look at it and see what we can do. Sometimes we’re waiting on parts for days, and the shop gets cluttered. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. People in the society know us by name. It’s a practical way to make a living, working with your hands and figuring out how things fit together. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist, just the workbench and us. We just try to finish the work we have and go home to our families.
