Ekta Engineering

Ekta Engineering is located in the Takwadi area of Andheri East, right near the Jain Temple. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of small workshops and industrial units. Our place is basically a workshop where we handle various engineering tasks. You’ll usually find us covered in a bit of grease or dust from the machines. It’s a noisy environment with the sounds of cutting and grinding going on through most of the day. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s more of a functional space where we get things built or repaired. There’s always a smell of oil and metal in the air. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, and the locals all know where we are. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, which is just part of working in this area. We take on all sorts of small engineering jobs that come our way. It’s not a corporate setting with meetings and presentations. Most of our discussions happen over a cup of tea standing near the workbench. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the parts out the door on time. The temple nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time because the lanes around here can be a bit confusing. It’s a tough way to make a living, but we’ve been doing it for years now.
