Our office is situated in the Tardeo Air Conditioned Market, specifically at unit 41356. If you've ever been to the AC Market, you know it’s one of those older buildings in Mumbai that has its own unique feel. We’ve been here at Eddycraanes Engineers for quite some time now. It's an interesting place to work because you have all sorts of businesses packed into one building. We deal with engineering stuff, mostly related to cranes and heavy machinery parts. The office isn't very large, but it’s packed with blueprints, catalogs, and technical manuals that have been sitting there for years. The air conditioning in the building is a life saver during the summer months, though it can be a bit moody and noisy sometimes. I spend most of my day answering the phone and replying to emails about spare parts or service schedules for the equipment. Tardeo is a very busy part of town, so getting here in the morning is always an adventure with the traffic and the people. We usually get our lunch from one of the small places nearby or bring a tiffin from home to eat at our desks. It’s a professional enough setup but without all the flashy stuff you see in the new office parks in the suburbs. We just focus on the engineering side of things and making sure our clients get what they need. Sometimes the lift in the building takes forever, so I end up taking the stairs.
