Ebrahim Allibhoy & Sons

We’ve been at 260/64 in the GIDC Estate for a good while now. It's busy here in Makarpura. Usually, Ebrahim Allibhoy & Sons is just a place where we get the work done. The trucks come in early, and the noise starts before the tea is even ready. Most days, it's just about keeping the orders moving and making sure the inventory is right. The guys in the back know what they're doing. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in this part of the industrial estate. We don’t really do anything fancy. People know where to find us if they need something. Sometimes the traffic outside Masjid Bunder West is a mess, but that’s just how it is. We have been here so long that the walls are a bit stained, but the machines still run fine. My father used to say that as long as the floor is swept, the day is going okay. We share the space with a few other units. It’s loud, dusty, and there’s always someone asking for a wrench or a bit of help. We just stay busy. It isn't a showroom or anything like that. Just a shop where the work happens. If you walk past the main gate, you’ll see our sign. It's a bit faded from the sun, but it still works. We stay until the sun goes down and then lock up the heavy gates. It is a long day, but it feels good to see the crates stacked up and ready for the morning.
