Dreams Furnishing Studio

We’ve been here at 162 Sb Marg for quite some time now, right across from where everyone goes to Phoenix Mills. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside it’s mostly just us dealing with fabrics and cushions. Dreams Furnishing Studio isn’t a huge place, just a regular shop where we keep a lot of swatches and samples piled up on the counters. Sometimes the dust from the cloth gets everywhere, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window. We spend most of our day talking to people who want to change their curtains or fix up an old chair that’s seen better days. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy. My brother usually handles the measurements while I stay back to manage the stock. We don’t have a big fancy website or anything like that. People just walk in because they saw the sign or they live nearby in Palmon. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning chai, and that’s basically our daily routine. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same stuff with foam and fabric. It’s a lot of heavy lifting sometimes, moving those big rolls of cloth around, but you get used to it. We just try to get the jobs done so people can take their stuff home and be happy with it. It’s a simple life here on Sb Marg.
