Dr Iyers Clinic

You can find Dr Iyers Clinic over in the Cypress Building, which is part of the Hiranandani Garden area in Powai. It’s a nice enough spot with a lot of trees and tall buildings all around us. Unit 13 is where we stay. The atmosphere in Powai is always a bit hurried, with people heading to work or walking their dogs in the garden, but inside the clinic, we try to keep a steady pace. The building is well-maintained, though the elevators can be a bit slow when everyone is coming home in the evening. We have a simple waiting area with some seating and a few plants to make it look a bit lively. Dr Iyer has been practicing here for a while, and the locals in Cypress know us by now. We spend the morning answering the phone and writing down names in the ledger. It’s a straightforward clinic without any of the flashy stuff you see in the bigger hospitals. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes it hard for people to get here, but we are usually open regardless of the weather. We see people from all over the Hiranandani area, and even some who come from further out in Powai. It’s a regular workday for us, managing the files and making sure the office stays organized. We just focus on getting through the appointments and heading home after the last patient leaves. It is a quiet, reliable routine that we have going here.
