Door Enterprises

We have been at Mahim Dimple Building for a long time now. It’s right near the Vijay Sales, so people usually find us easily when they are looking for new doors or just some repair work. The shop is number nine. It gets a bit dusty inside because of the wood shavings and the cutting machines running most of the day. My dad started this whole thing with just a few basic tools and a lot of patience. Nowadays, we handle all kinds of door frames and shutters. Sometimes people come in with very specific measurements that are hard to get right on the first try, but we manage. The traffic around Mahim can be a nightmare during the evening, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. It’s not a fancy place by any means. There are stacks of plywood and timber leaning against the walls, and the floor is usually covered in sawdust. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and some pens. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and fitting hinges. People from the neighborhood know us. They drop by to ask about a broken latch or a door that won't shut properly because of the humidity. We just do the work and try to keep things moving. It's a steady life here.
