Diwankad Plantations

People usually have a hard time finding us because we are tucked away in the basement at Parshva Chambers. Shop 503 isn't exactly the most visible spot from the main road, but we’ve been here at Masjid Bunder West for a while now. The R C Dutt Road outside is always jammed with trucks and people moving goods, especially during the middle of the day. If you look for the Union Bank of India, we are right across from that. The stairs down to the basement are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. Being in Diwankad Plantations, our day-to-day is mostly paperwork and coordinating things that are happening far away from this basement office. It’s a bit dusty down here, but it stays cooler than the street when the sun is really beating down on Mumbai. We usually grab tea from the stall around the corner while we wait for the courier guys to show up. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get our work done. Most of the neighbors in Parshva Chambers are doing the same thing, just running their small businesses and trying to keep up with the pace of the market. Sometimes the electricity flickers a bit when it rains hard, but that is just how things are in this part of town. We just keep the files moving and talk to the folks we need to talk to.
