Divya Lifters

Divya Lifters is based at Plot No-2/A in Laxmi Bhavan. We are right on P Dmello Road in the Fort area. It’s a very old part of the city and it gets incredibly crowded with all the trucks and vehicles going toward the docks. Our building has been here for years. We work with lifting equipment and cranes, so things are usually pretty heavy around here. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to handle the logistics and make sure the operators know where they are going. Dealing with the port traffic is part of the daily routine. We start our mornings quite early before the roads get completely blocked up. There is always noise coming from the street outside, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a handful of us making sure the machinery is maintained and the jobs get done. Sometimes the gear breaks down and we have to spend the whole night fixing it. That’s just the nature of the work. If you come by P Dmello Road, you’ll see the old buildings like Laxmi Bhavan. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People around here know us for the work we do with the lifters. It is a tough business but it keeps us busy. We don't use fancy talk, we just get the equipment where it needs to be for our clients.
