Dinesh Communication Centre

Dinesh Communication Centre is a small shop located at number 5 in Andheri East. This is a very fast-paced part of Mumbai, and being here means there is never a quiet moment. Our little corner at number 5 is where we spend most of our waking hours. The shop is filled with various items, mostly things people need for their daily communication needs. It is a cramped space with a counter that has seen better days. We don't have a lot of room to move around, but we make it work. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking noise that we have stopped noticing after all these years. Andheri East is always full of people rushing to work or the train station. We see hundreds of faces go by our door every hour. Some people stop in for a quick chat or to pick something up. We don't have a polished business plan. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. The walls are covered in old calendars and some notes we have scribbled for ourselves. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when too many people come in at once. It is a local shop for local people. We do not try to be anything we are not. Just a simple place in a busy neighborhood trying to keep things going. We like the energy of the street and the regulars who stop by to say hello while they wait for their bus.
