You can find us at Gala No. 6, right near the S.T. Stand on M.G. Road in Borivali East. It is a handy spot because everyone knows where the bus stand is. We make steel furniture here. Tables, cupboards, racks, things like that. It is a workshop environment, so there is usually the sound of metal clanging or someone welding in the back. We have been in this gala for years. It is a bit small but we make it work by stacking things carefully. People from the neighborhood come in when they need something sturdy for their homes or shops. Steel lasts a long time, which is why we like working with it. We don't have a big glossy catalog. Most people just walk in and tell us what they need, or look at what we have sitting on the floor. It gets a bit dusty with all the grinding, but we try to keep the finished pieces clean. M.G. Road is always loud with traffic, so we are used to the noise. If you are walking past the bus stand, you’ll see our shop. We do the work ourselves. Sometimes it takes a few days to finish a piece if we are busy with other orders. It’s just honest work making furniture that doesn't break. We have been serving the Borivali area for a long time and we like the people here. It's a busy life but it's okay. We keep things simple and practical.
