Dilshad Furniture

Dilshad Furniture is located in Kadam Nagar, within the Behram Baug area of Jogeshwari West. If you walk through our doors, the first thing you will notice is the smell of cut wood and the sound of hammering. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and salesmen in ties. Our place is more of a workshop where things actually get built. There is usually sawdust on the floor and half-finished chairs or tables standing around the edges. We work with our hands every day, measuring, cutting, and fitting pieces together. Jogeshwari West is a crowded, lively part of the city, and Behram Baug has its own unique rhythm. We are part of that local fabric. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask about a repair or to see if we can make a specific cupboard for their flat. We don't use fancy computer designs most of the time; it is more about sketches on bits of paper and years of experience. The space is tight, and we have to move things around constantly to make room for new projects. It is hard work and the days are long, but there is something good about seeing a pile of wood turn into something useful. We keep things simple here at Dilshad Furniture. No big promises or marketing talk, just a lot of manual labor and some furniture making in Kadam Nagar.
