Diatech

Diatech is based in Goregaon East, right in the Main Marker area of Gandhi Nagar, specifically at numbers 44/47. It is a bit of a maze around here with all the different units and shops, but we have our own corner where we keep things running. The work we do is quite technical, so there are always tools and small parts lying around on the workbenches. We try to keep things organized, but when you are busy fixing things all day, the wires and screws tend to end up everywhere. It is a very bright space because we need to see what we are doing with the small components, so we have a lot of tube lights that hum quietly in the background. Most of the day is spent hunched over a desk or talking to people on the phone about their equipment. We have a small kettle for making coffee, and the smell of it usually fills the room by mid-morning. The building itself is quite solid, and we have been in this Gandhi Nagar spot for a good while, seeing the street outside get more and more crowded with cars and bikes. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It is a simple way of working, but it works for us and the people who come to see us. The afternoon sun hits the back wall, making it a bit warm, but we have a decent fan.
