Diamond Mobile Zone

Diamond Mobile Zone is right on Shah Marg in Masjid Bunder West. If you know that area, you know how crowded it gets. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. We’ve been on Shah Marg for a long time now. People are always walking past and selling things. It is very loud outside. Inside, we have glass counters and stools for people to sit on while we look at their phones. Most of our day is spent looking at small screens and tiny screws. It’s hard on the eyes. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name above the door. The floor is a bit uneven and the fan makes a clicking noise, but it keeps us cool. We talk to all sorts of people who come in from the street. We handle repairs and sell bits and pieces for mobiles. We don't have a website. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them at night. There's an old radio in the corner that we keep on for some background music, usually playing old songs. The lighting in the shop is a bit bright because we need to see what we are doing. We don't have any storage space, so everything is kept right there on the shelves. Sometimes we have to dig through piles of cases to find the right one. Shah Marg is always a mess, but it keeps things interesting. We’re glad to be here and stay busy.
